Guide
Chinese characters are set on a square em grid and are rarely kerned between each other. These pairs are useful for checking proportional fallback and how punctuation sits between characters.
Pair kerning is rare in Chinese (Han). Han characters are set on a fixed em square; pair kerning is not customary (Hiragino Sans GB adjusts none of the pairs measured).
The workbench above opens with the Chinese (Simplified) preset. Other Chinese (Han) presets in the alphabet menu: Chinese (Han characters), Chinese (Traditional). Open your font to check whether it adjusts any of these pairs at all, and switch to spacing strings to compare each glyph's fit. Your font never leaves this device.
